On the afternoon of November 9, Prof. Dr. Michael Namoke, Vice President of DIPLOMA, Dr. Carsten Kolbe, Director of International Cooperation, Cherima Kus, German teacher of Duisburg Language School and other six people came to visit BIPT.

Before the symposium, Chairman of BIPT Committee Liu Ying warmly met with the visiting delegation. In June this year, Liu Ying led a delegation to visit DIPLOMA in Germany, after which our university quickly established the 2024 Chinese-German Mechanical Engineering Class.

At the symposium, the two sides had a discussion and exchange on inter-school exchanges and cooperation, presided over by President Luo Xueke, Deputy Chairman of BIPT Committee and president of our university. First of all, Luo XueKe warmly welcomed the visit of Vice President Michael Namoke, and introduced the basic situation of our university and the cooperation between the two schools. He said that BIPT and BSTU have similar educational philosophy and development vision, have the same discipline and professional fields, and look forward to the Chinese-German Mechanical Engineering Class jointly built by the two sides can achieve fruitful results.
Vice President Michael Namoke introduced the basic situation and cooperation ideas of DIPLOMA, and said that the university is a typical representative of Germany's applied university and dual education, and shows characteristics in the training of practical talents, especially the strength of mechanical and electronic engineering, and its teaching and training methods are widely recognized by German enterprises. He hopes that the Chinese-German Mechanical Engineering Class will become better and better and strengthen the cooperation between the two schools in other disciplines.
Chen Ya, project leader of the Chinese-German Mechanical Engineering Class of the School of Mechanical Engineering, reported on the current work of the class, and discussed with DIPLOMA on the 2024 Sino-German Mechanical Engineering Class students to Germany in 2025 summer exchange program.


After the meeting, Vice President Michael Namoke, accompanied by our staff, visited the key equipment laboratory of Optical and Mechanical Engineering, the Chuangyuan Engineering Training Center and the library.

After visiting the campus, Vice Principal Michael Namoke gave a presentation on the 3+1 project to the students of the 2024 Chinese-German Mechanical Engineering Class, and had a broad and in-depth exchange on German language learning and other issues of concern to the students.
Zhu Jialei, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Cao Jianshu, Dean of the School of Engineer-training, Huang Jianping, Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs Office, and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.
